The center
C4 is a network of computational chemists of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zürich, the external pageUniversity of Zürich and the external pageIBM Zürich Research Laboratory at Rüschlikon established in 1992. The purpose of C4 is to advance the frontiers in computation by carrying out research in the fields of chemistry, physics, biology and material science. C4 is led by a Steering Committee consisting of Markus Reiher (ETH Zürich; head), Jürg Hutter (University of Zürich), and Alessandro Curioni (IBM Zürich Research Laboratory).
