Corina Keller

Corina Keller is awarded the IBM Research Forschungspreis for her MSc Thesis entitled “Simulation of Dynamic Atomic Force Microscopy Images", in which she presents the development, implementation and application of methods for the calculation of accurate AFM images at the density functional level of theory. The methods developed allow to reproduce the relevant details of high resolution images by explicit description of the electronic structure of both, tip and sample. Her method is now being used by materials research groups outside her laboratory.
